Affordable Counselling

Affordable Counselling  Nova Scotia:

Five Star Wellbeing Intern Counselling Clinic

Quality counselling should be accessible.

We know cost can make it difficult to get the mental health support you need. Our Intern Counselling Clinic offers professional, compassionate counselling at a more affordable rate for people who may not have insurance coverage or who find the regular cost of therapy difficult to manage.

Counselling with Dianne Lévesque — $45/hour

September 10, 2026 – June 30, 2027

We’re pleased to welcome Dianne Lévesque, Counselling Therapist Intern, to Five Star Wellbeing.

Dianne is completing her graduate training in counselling and will be offering individual counselling through our Intern Counselling Clinic for $45 per one-hour session.

Affordable Counselling. Professional Support.

Our Intern Counselling Clinic connects you with a graduate counselling student who is completing the supervised clinical experience required to become a counselling therapist.

Dianne will receive close clinical supervision, guidance and mentoring from Derrick McEachern, Registered Counselling Therapist and an Approved Supervisor with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.

This means you receive affordable counselling while working with a developing therapist who is supported throughout her clinical practice.

What You Can Expect

  • Affordable counselling at $45/hour
  • Professional clinical supervision
  • Compassionate, client-centred care
  • A safe and confidential space
  • Evidence-based counselling approaches

Need a Lower Rate? Talk to Us.

We don't want cost to be the only reason you can't access counselling.

If $45 per session is difficult for you, please contact Derrick McEachern at derrick@fivestarwellbeing.com. Where possible, we'll work with you to find a rate that better fits your financial circumstances.

Fees collected through the Intern Counselling Clinic help cover administration, insurance, office space and professional supervision.
