About Kathryn
Kathryn is a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. She works with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, health and wellbeing concerns, as well as parenting support and strategies for neurodiverse youth or teens in need.

Overthinking, racing thoughts, panic attacks, or constant worry
Persistent low mood, hopelessness, or loss of motivation

Coping with grief after the death of a loved one
Adjusting after separation, divorce, or other major life changes

Stress and burnout from work, school, or caregiving responsibilities
Adjusting to chronic illness or injury, and finding balance in health and wellbeing

Parenting stress, conflict with teens, or feeling overwhelmed by family demands
Supporting neurodiverse children and teens with routines, behaviour, and emotional regulation
Social skills, peer relationships, and confidence struggles for youth navigating difference

Behaviour Interventions Diploma – Nova Scotia Community College (2022)
Kathryn also brings over seven years of experience helping others:
Five years with the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, supporting and developing programs for neurodiverse youth and adults
Two years with Autism Nova Scotia, providing resources and guidance for families, professionals, and community members
Now a full-time therapist at Five Star Wellbeing, Kathryn offers a warm, client-centered approach. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to work toward positive change.
